Hey, here I am after a whole year without posting on this blog! Haha!<\/strong>
We’ve been fully active, but the rush and other priorities kept me from posting here\u2014after all, a post like this takes quite a bit of time selecting images and designing the layout. But enough chit-chat, let\u2019s talk about the couple featured in this post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jana and Matt live in England, met in the US, and came to get married in Rio de Janeiro!<\/strong>
That\u2019s what I call real global taste\u2014an international couple through and through! Haha!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was lucky enough to spend three days with them, working alongside people I truly love. Mara, Daniel Mendes, and Igor Mendes (DVM Films) were with me, sharing the responsibility of capturing the wedding in photos and video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oh, and before you ask: yes, they received the photos in color too. I chose to publish this post in black and white because I really liked the aesthetic. I hope you enjoy the moments, contrasts, and textures without the distraction of color. Let me know in the comments whether you liked it\u2014or didn\u2019t! Your opinion matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 1: Boat Party<\/strong>
Let\u2019s kick off this post with the welcome boat party, which was a unique experience for everyone involved\u2014guests and professionals alike. It was impossible not to get swept up in the energy and have fun alongside them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We boarded a boat at Marina da Gl\u00f3ria and sailed to a calm spot in Guanabara Bay where guests could take in the views and enjoy a swim. We returned at sunset, and it was epic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 2: The Wedding<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The wedding took place at a venue called Meio do Mato Eventos<\/em>, which literally means \u201cin the middle of the woods\u201d \u2014 and yes, it\u2019s just that! A beautiful spot, perfect for outdoor weddings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mara arrived early in the morning to photograph the getting ready, while I stayed in the city with Matt and the groomsmen until it was time to head to the ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
